I was one of the four game designers on this project.
The challenge was to make an android game following the world of l'Incal that would last at least 15 minutes.
It was my first group project on unity, it was challenging discovering the software and trying to deliver the best experience in a platformer genre on this device.

Qualities
-
The tutorial was quite great, as the player need to learn 4 forms. I am happy that we implemented a quite progressive tutorial (a bit slow nonetheless)
-
When the players enters the flow of gameplay, it is satisfying switching forms to adapt to the situation
-
The UI to show what can kill the player in each forms is working great
Defaults
-
Too much difficult. The skill needed is increasingly too much and ask too short timing and reactions. The game can be quite frustrating for some players
-
Some parts in the LD are too difficult to read well and can lead to confusion
-
The motion controls can be a bit hard, not tuned well
