Welcome to my website
My name is Merlin, I'm a Game Designer and UX researcher located in Paris.
After finishing a licence of philosophy in 2013,
a MSc degree in Game & Level Design in 2016 and already having 9 years of professional industry experience, I am currently searching for a new experience in the game industry.

PORTRAIT

I was no more than a toddler when my brother, hoping to finally have an opponent of his level, placed a Super Nintendo controller between my hands to play some Street Fighter 2. A second after I was already passionate.
It was many years later that after studying piano at the École des Enfants du Spectacle and a licence in philosophy, my path led me to complete a master's degree in Game Design at Isart Digital.
With my multiple experiences as a game designer, but also as a UX researcher, I had a strong desire to work in the game industry.
Enjoying the variety of what can be game experiences, I love games with a lot of mechanics and a strong learning curve, or simpler games with few elements, to emphasize accessibility.
In my free time, besides working on my Unreal Engine project : "Soul Transfer", I spend it on my passion for music production, doing web comics with friends and physical training.
My motto is:
make a good game
better a game
Create a great game experience from scratch and manipulate the macro design to fullfill the design intentions
Iterate and tweak the game until reaching the highest quality for the player experience and the image of the developer studio
